We are Selah, a progressive Jewish community in South Austin, Texas.
Selah was born out of a desire to re-imagine Jewish life in South Austin. We seek to create a living Judaism that is experienced through meaningful and engaging learning for both children & adults and social and cultural gatherings with our families and rabbis. We are forward-thinking, connected to our traditions, informal, creative, welcoming to all families, and committed to social justice. We are a partner of Congregation Agudas Achim and collaborate with the CAA staff and rabbis to develop curriculum and programming tailored to our community. We have received grants from Shalom Austin and USCJ as well as independent donations. We are grateful for all contributions, large or small, to help us realize our mission of serving all South Austin families.
